Can anyone be captured by love? Carl thinks not. He doesn't believe in love and is contemptuous of those who do. He lives for pleasure and takes it wherever and with whomever he can. What is it like to kill someone? What is it like to be killed? What drives people to murder? Each of these four crime stories is centred around a killing. In some we get inside the mind of the killer,in others the mind of the victim, sharing their thoughts leading up to the final terrible act.
For most of the passengers it's just an ordinary flight but for two of them it will be a flight that changes their lives forever. For him it may mean heartbreak. Can he pick up the pieces and start again? For her it may be a ticket to a new life. Will she destroy anothers dreams to get what she wants?
Four excellent short stories for everyone who has loved and lost and learned to love again. They are all on a romantic theme but are a cut above your average "Mills and Boone" tale. The characters are real and and their feelings are easy to relate to. Two are written from a man's point of view and two from a womans. In each one we under the skin of the main character and follow them through the highs and lows of a relationship. The stories are very different from each other and the endings are not easy to predict. They range from the light-hearted "Cup of Love", to the more serious, even dark "Unloving You" and "See through love". Lets hope we see more from this versatile writer. There were a few "typos" but nothing that detracted from the stories.
This is a very imaginative fantasy story that would appeal especially to younger readers. It tells the story of the prince and princess of a tiny country and the magical powers that change their lives.
