J.J. Telly

J.J. Telly lives in Seattle with her husband and a dog. The Aerolith Adventures is her first series for young adults and she is currently hard at work on the fourth book.

"I began writing the Aerolith Adventures because I wanted to tell a good story, the kind that makes a reader catch their breath in suspense and chuckle at absurdity. I wanted to provide an escape hatch into a wonder-filled foreign world, that of my imagination. I wanted nail-biting plot twists, juicy and nightmare-inducing villains, and monsters beyond anything in our own reality, but mostly I wanted to watch a timid, average girl become a stong heroine. In my humble opinion, the Aerolith Adventures are all that I wanted them to be. Several books into the series, Gelsem still has her faults, but she's trying and that's all any of us can do."
