I absolutely loved this book! I fell in love with the characters--well, most of the characters. One of them made me sick to my stomach (those of you who have read it know who I am talking about). Estela is a beautiful, yet flawed, character (read: human), and I love how the author worked a tight-nit/traditional Latino family into the story. I grew up in along the U.S.-Mexico border and some scenes had me missing home. I look forward to the next book, and will purchase it as soon as it is available (a not so subtle hint to the author).
I really enjoyed the 3rd book of this series. Not only do we get to see more of Adam than we did in the second book (he's my favorite character), we are introduced to some new personalities that add a new twist and no doubt will bring more shenanigans throughout the rest of the series. I recommend this book (and series) if you are looking for a fun read!
I loved every page of this book. I knew that this was the last book in the series before I started reading it, and had to force myself to slow down to make the it last as long as possible. This was a good read and the author tied up the story lines perfectly. I anxiously await the Adam and Daisy book.....and there better be more where that comes from!
