  • Tales of Aradia The Last Witch Volume 1 on Jan. 13, 2012

This book was given to me by the author L.A Jones so I want to say thank you to for giving this to me and I want to apologize for it taking me so long to read it. Now I am kicking myself for not starting it sooner. This book was amazing! Once I started it I didn't want to put it down, it started off with action and finished with action and leaving you wanting more. I love books like that! L.A Jones is such a gifted writer, doesn't give you any boring parts, keeps you entertained with fight scenes and with a little romance going on but not to much. Anyways, the book starts off with genocide of all the witches of Salem. All but one, a baby and that baby's name was Aradia. Who would have thought that a baby would cause so much trouble? The mother of this baby sent the baby out of time and space to be protected from Sovereign (the person behind the killings all of the witches in Salem. Aradia was found by Ross and Liza who adopted Aradia and accepted her as their own daughter but knew that she was something special. They moved away from Salem but only to come back some years later. As Aradia grew up she started developing her powers but couldn't figure out what she is. After moving she gets settle into her high school life she soon realizes that not everything is as it seems. This high school is full of hot guys, which isnt bad at all or is it? She then meets Roy a boy in her class then she meets Dex another boy in her class. One night walking in the woods she comes across a big wolf but soon she realizes that is not a wolf its a werewolf! And not just any werewolf but her best friend Roy!! Not knowing what to do she hits him on top of the head with a branch and locks him in a jail cell until he turns back into himself. After he wakes up him self again he starts explaining that mostly everyone in Salem is a hidden. A hidden is a vampire, fairie, werewolf, you name there was one in Salem. Knowing all of this she starts to question what she is and Roy has no idea either. Then murders start to happen not just any murders but ones that look like vampires had done it. They called the murderer "the vampire murderer", Ross (Aradia's father) just so happens to be a ada in Salem who is investigating these murders. Aradia knew it was connected to the hiddens in Salem. When Aradia starts to investigate the murders she becomes a target. Not to mention she is torn on who she wants to be with Roy or Dex, they both would lay down their lives to save and protect her. Which just happens to be the case when Aradia gets into a fight with the murderer. This book was full of action like I said. There was so much that I loved about this book like how the plot was similar to twilght series which I didnt mind. There is such a big difference between this book and the Twilight series. Anyways, back to the book the challenges that Aradia faces in this book is alot more then any other teenager should face, but you have to remember that she isnt like all the other girl teenagers she is a witch! At the end of this book left me hanging on to the edge of my seat it was so good. It also left me wondering who Aradia would pick Roy or Dex. I am not saying which I am leaving that for you to discover. Trust me when I say this is one book you dont want to miss out on.

So there is this city called Clarkville where a sheriff kills everyone who he either doesnt like or who he thinks committed a crime. The sheriffs name was Ritters, he runs this town well he thinks he does and only because he has some jewel around his neck that protects him. Not to mention under his office is a cellar which contains tons of vampires. He feeds the vampires anyone who commits a "crime" instead of killing them himself. When a stranger whos name is Colton, comes to town looking for someone the sheriff and him gets into a argument, the sheriff decides that he has committed a crime but questioning him. So the sheriff knocks him unconscious and takes him outside and puts a bullet in his head and throws his body in the cellar with the vampires. But unknow to Ritters, Colton is another kind of animal. I was iffy on starting this book because I mean come on western and paranormal who knew it would work! Well guess what it does!! Frank sure does know how to write a great short story! From the start there was action! It didnt take long at all for me to get hooked in this book! Took me a total of 30 mins to finish this book! Thats how hooked I was! I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!

Review for S.P.I.R.I.T Fire Storm by Dawn Gray I bought this book from the author herself. She even signed it for me! I was so anxious to read this book, I always am when an real life author signs their book then sends it to me, who wouldnt want to read it? This author is an amazing author and friend, and I am honored to read her book. Samantha was put in a town with out knowledge on how she got there. She can remember everything else about her life except of that town and how she got there. But when her life is in danger she is saved but a very handsome Zander. There are two universes and in one they are together by love and death and they brought the two universes together. They have an romantic and thrilling ride together. This book was a big WOW. It was exciting and on some parts had me on the edge of my seat. Im not big on romance books either but when Dawn Gray combines supernatural (my favorite subject) and romance together it was right up my alley. I couldnt have had ask for a better book from the author. I give it 5 out of 5 stars! Of course I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. her link to her facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/Dawngrayauthor Links to buy the book: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/93266 http://www.amazon.com/S-P-I-R-I-T-Storm-Dawn-M-Gray/dp/1469972255/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331414070&sr=8-1 http://www.amazon.com/S-P-I-R-I-T-Fire-Storm-ebook/dp/B007IUBQJO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1331414070&sr=8-2

My Opinion: I wasn't sure if I would like this book, not because of the author or any other reasons but one its a romance book. I don't read romance books unless its a paranormal romance genre. I find romance books are boring and have no point to them well I think this book has changed my mind. Who knew this short story book would change my mind about romance! Anyways, back to the what the book was about. I first started out feeling bad for Chelsea and the life she was living by being by herself. No parents and what I call a pain in the butt aunt who doesn't care about her. Then Lord Wainwright comes into the picture. Even through you can't really see him because after all it's a book but you can tell he is sexy! Lord Wainwright is a ladies man who I think doesn't know how to love but after hanging out with Chelsea he is memorized by her. Given some parts of this book you could see coming but the way Claudy had wrote those parts in was better then what I had imagine in my mind. I'm glad I was given the chance to read this book and that it was free for me to get it! The romance between Chelsea and Lord Wainwright is dreamy and charming. Also, how the author's writing was in descriptive and not run on was amazing. I will be reading more of her work for sure! And maybe I see some more romance books in my life. Star Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

My Opinion: Once again Claudy does it again. Where do I start with this book? It had my attention from the very first page to the very last one. She made Shawna funny, well not funny but feisty and entertaining as hell to read about. Then you have Pentim who you know is dangerous but you can also tell he is sexy and very alluring vampire. Shawna and Pantim is a match made in heaven well maybe not heaven. I think the way Claudy made Shawn half witch and half vampire makes u just want to read about it because you know the plot is good especially with her writing history. Shawna is a good person, she never did anything bad she didn't even use human blood for anything! There are so many emotions while reading this book, and I was pregnant when I read this book so I was extra emotional. This story isn't like most I read first its a romance book and somehow Claudy has got me hooked on her romance books. And Second, I just can't stay away from her books period no matter if they are paranormal or not. Star Rating: 5 out of 5
