I was born and raised on the southside of Chicago. Writing has always been a source of therapy for me. I would just put the pen to the page and let whatever was inside of me flow out. What started out as just scribbles on the page transformed into poetry, short stories and eventually my first novel.
I am a new mother and having my little boy inspired me to try to share my writing with whoever was willing to read it. I am in an exciting and terrifying time in my life as a new author, and I am enjoying every moment of it.
