Ebook: Forever Author: Gillian Joy Fiction, Paranormal, This review may contain spoilers I was given this book by the author for an honest review Summary: Hannah’s life has never been easy, despite her strong willed determination and her extra “gifts”, it's still always been hard work keeping an entire world full of the supernatural under control, but having achieved a small semblance of control over most of the custas, Hannah was hoping to be able to slip back into her life of normalcy. Wishful thinking when you're the guardian of all supernatural. With all the issues she’d had to endure in her past, she'd never had to worry about the mermaids before, so why would they choose now to suddenly start haunting her dreams and her life. Then there are the fairies to contend with as well, just when she manages to get one aspect of the crudelitas under control, the others decide it’s time to start causing problems. All Hannah wants is some quiet family time and a chance to reflect on her feelings for Gabriel but instead she's thrown back into the thick of the supernatural world, and this time it threatens to invade the quiet family life she has worked so hard to establish. There's no running away this time, she has to front the challenges head on, but forever can be a long time if you can't be with the one you love. The Review I was given this by the author in exchange for an honest review, the main point being, could you read this without reading Book 1, Guardian, first. Well my answer is a resounding Yes, I loved this book, You could quite easily read this on it’s own, I have not yet read Guardian, but I will do, I just need to read a lot of other books to try and forget the characters in this book, but then that won’t be easy, None of them were very forgetful, I think anyone could read this and not worry about not knowing who is who, as it is explained as you go along in the book, the characters were well formed and laid out, which made this a great book, I loved the plot line, the way Hannah always tried to get on with life, even with all the issues she constantly had to put up with from supernaturals, I won’t say too much about this book on the off chance you want to read book 1 first, as I am sure and I can only assume this of course that a lot of the characters will be the same, as they seem to have a great rapport between them, Thankyou To Gillian Joy for giving me the idea to read the second book first, I may have to do this with a few other series I have my eye on, 5/5

Ebook: Malevolent Gateway Author: Dawn Gray Fiction, Paranormal, This review may contain spoilers I was given this by the author for an honest review Summary: The Green Mountains of Vermont is a wonderland of picturesque valleys and hills, a landscape of fields and small towns that are hidden treasures. However, they can also hide many secrets. Burke Flats, located in the upper right hand corner of the state, the Northeast Kingdom, has many skeletons in its closet. Lieutenant Will Stiles and his group of men, the S.P.I.R.I.T. team, are called in to investigate the strange happenings around the marshlands of Burke Flats. For generations the marshes have been a place of ghostly lore, disappearances, and strange deaths. Anna and Blake call the Flats home, but when the deaths begin to pick up in numbers they are more than happy to have the help of the military’s new elite. Will having the S.P.I.R.I.T. team so close open up a world of evil that they aren’t prepared for? Can a member of a different unit help spread some light on the subject? Join Anna, Blake, Will, and his team in a fight against a stronger malevolent presence than anyone ever expected. The Review I really enjoyed this book, The author certainly had me staying up all night to read this one, It had super creepy instances so be warned, The author was very graphic in this novel, much more than in S.P.I.R.I.T. Fire Storm, the other in this series, I loved the characters in this one, Blake was the life & soul of this book for me, his relationship with Evers was awesome, Nice to see an army sergeant who is gay, even if he was still worried what others would think, times are changing and he seemed to realise that later in the book, I loved Anna and Will, there relationship was truly beautiful, in the terrible town where the S.P.I.R.I.T. team ended up, A fantastic team camaraderie between them all, just how I would expect them to be during the terrible times that had been on, This is a fantastic read, I will be recommending this to all my friends, 4.5/5/
