A recovering copywriter, Joe’s current focus is commercial fiction novels, short stories and horror film screenplays (go figure).
Joe spent the last twenty years working in advertising, television and film including senior positions at DMB&B, Grey, BBDO and Warner Bros. serving clients like Pepsi, GE, Campbell’s, Foot Locker, the Harry Potter series, the Ocean’s 11 series, and The Matrix Trilogy. Joe was co-founder, artistic director, producer and director of Live On Tape, a live sketch comedy show that was bought by NBC and turned into ten hilarious episodes. Additionally, he co-wrote the teen horror parody film Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday The 13th.
Joe's newest film, Pennhurst, is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2012.
This is a promotional video for my debut novel, Formerly Fingerman. Being an ad guy by nature and having spent so many years making movie trailers, I couldnt help myself. Also, a trailer is kind of the thing to do now if youre selling a book. Plus I like attention.
BTW, it has zero to do with the plot of the novel. But it's funny.
