John Thomson

Biography

John Henry Thomson retired as a Colonel in the United States Army in 1993 with over 29 years of service. He is a decorated combat veteran with service during both Vietnam and the Gulf wars. He has served in airborne and special operations units and has commanded soldiers from platoon to brigade. Colonel Thomson spent over three years in West Africa and lived twelve months in the jungles. During his military career, he has served as a special operations liaison officer to the Navy; worked with the governments of Spain and Brazil on counter terrorism, mines and explosives; and with Delta Force and the Central Intelligence Agency. He lives with his wife in the State of Washington. He is the author of The Dark Face of Evil.
