What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
As I become older, I'm realising that we only have a certain amount of time on this earth. I see each day as a gift, and opportunity to explore, create, or just have fun . Life is far too short for regrets.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Just stepping out of my back door into our yard with several large old trees makes me very appreciative that we live on Vancouver Island. My current passion, besides writing, is playing pickleball. Never heard of it? It just happens to be the fastest growing sport in North America. It is a very social game, lots of fun, and great exercise. Just google 'pickleball' if you want to know more - and I'd really encourage you to try it out. Besides pickleball, and of course writing, we have a wonderful neighbourhood and we spend time with neighbours and family. We also travel to visit our adult children, and to vacation.
