I am 33 years old and have always loved writing so being a professional author is a dream I've had since I was a kid. Elemental Touch is my first book, and I've been working on it since 2010. I've already discussed some of my influences in my interview section but specifically for this book I was definitely influenced by sci-fi and fantasy movies that stepped outside of the box like Krull and Willow. I love it when a story crosses genres like the fantasy aspects of Star Wars or the sci-fi elements of Krull. When I wrote this I set out to create a modern fantasy story that would inspire people to look at the world and history differently, similar to what Dan Brown did with The Davinci Code, but at the same time I wanted the story to be action-packed and just fun to read and not so huge that the idea of reading it seems like a daunting task. For instance, I started reading Moby Dick in high school and I loved it, but to this day I've never finished it cause it's just so long. That's why I'm planning this book as a series so that instead of one huge book, or in the case of most series today SEVERAL huge books, you get several small books that feel more like episodes in a tv series. I am already working on the next book and I am really looking forward to hearing what my readers think about Elemental Touch,

Elemental Touch is the first of a new young-adult fantasy fiction series. This book follows four ordinary people as they get caught up in a world of mystery and elemental magic. As each of them have to decide what to believe and who to trust the lines between villain and hero begin to blur while the simple act of survival becomes a quest.
