Describe your desk
I've written over a million words at this good and faithful old desk. It's made of particle board and has a lot of He-Man figures on it, and my kids have stuck hundreds of stickers on the side of it over the years.
What's the first story you remember writing?
It was in third grade, for an assignment. It was about ninjas--fully illustrated, of course. It was such a popular concept that another kid in the class copied my idea and then the teacher came and told me to keep it to myself next time.
