Born in the UK and went to school in London and Hampshire; served in the Royal Navy surface ships and submarines.
I am a retired marine/mechanical engineer with a grown up family of four and nine grand children. Immigrated to Canada in 1963. work has taken me to 25 countries, 6 provinces and 2 territories in Canada and 20 states in the USA.
My hobbies are travel, painting and reading.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes the first story I ever read was called "Biggles" a boys book about a pilot of that name. he was an adventurous flyer. I remember the dialogue was so real I believed I was there!
How do you approach cover design?
So far I have chosen covers that refer to the story. e.g. "the case of the stolen rings" cover shows a small town policeman. Book 2 will show a Tudor style house, the story is called "the mysteries of Alba house. Book 3 shows a stone with a hole in it. the book is called Gregor's magic
