A flash fiction tale about the genesis of evil. Incomprehensible acts of terror and evil, though seemingly random at first, are anything but. Evil, pure, unquenchable evil, is often cultivated and nurtured until it is ready to burst forth into society like some demented jack-in-the-box. Unfortunately, and commonly, the only way to guarantee its demise, is to wait for it to self-extinguish.
