James Rupe

After Graduating Central Missouri State University, I have spent the majority of my adult life as an educator filling the roll of administrator, teacher and coach in both private and public sectors. Married with two sons I enjoy an active family life that includes frequent travel, biking with my grand daughter and a few rounds of golf. As an avid Bible student and teacher I have spent many years teaching the Bible in various venues including Bible studies, Sunday school and selective seminars that range from marriage to latter day Bible prophesy. www.concerningtruth.com

Smashwords Interview

What is the inspiration behind Beam me up Commander?
Every social and cultural indicator points to a downward trend in the Christian faith. Most people who identify themselves as Christians can’t define their conviction. Beam me up Commander is designed to help those who sincerely want to understand their Christian heritage.
What motivate you to get out of bed each day?
I’m very involved with my family and that would be enough if I had nothing else to offer. However, I have been a student of the Bible for many years and feel responsible to pass that heritage on to the following generations. Combine that with the love of writing and I’m out of bed at six every morning.
