On a simple hike to walk and think, Terry wanders haphazardly into the cabin of a hermit named Charlie. Hemmed in by a blizzard and a twisted ankle, the young hiker listens to the absorbing and staggering tale of Charlie's life. Tormented early on by those who should have been most dear, Charlie tells his tale of perserverance in the face of an all-too-real world.
