Fist, let me say I collect cookboks. I still long for my copy of "The Bride's Cookbook" that I gave my baby sister about thirty years ago. I remember the recipes and wish I had made copies of them prior to parting with the book. That said, I will say that I found this cookbook to be difficult to follow. From a dialog of the virtues of canned tuna straight into a recipe for lentil salad I found myself confused. If a person extols an ingredient prior to a recipe, I expect the same consistency throughout. I was disappointed in the manner it was written. I went back to the table of contents and checked a few of the recipes. There is nothing that would encourage me to try any. Thankfully I did not pay anything for this book or I would have been very disappointed.
