Spinward Fringe Broadcast 6: Fragments
on June 19, 2011
This series of books is the best. I was so dissapointed that I did not have another book to read in this series. I look forward for the next. When I picked up the first book, I could not put it down. And so it was with the next, and the next, and the next. I spent all my spare time reading them. I read the whole series in a little over a week. I want more.
I thought this book was slow at the beginning, however, it picked up the pace rather well. The charcters were pretty good. The story was right on. I enjoyed reading it. I have thought often in the last few years about where technology is leading us, and I agree with what the authors imply.
I liked the book as a whole. It was slow and boring at times. I am glad I kept reading. I really enjoyed the character's personal problems with her family and how she finally handled that. I was intrigued with her struggle with her professional and social problems and how she finally comes to grips with those as well, realizing that in persuit of ones happiness, one must a decision to change.
I liked this book even though I am still confused about a couple of things. Bowen's plight is heart wrenching. By no fault of the author, I thint I may have to read this again to really understand the parts I am still confused about.
I have read the previous books in this series and have enjoyed them enough to purchase the rest. However, I don't like the direction the author took the story in this book. I hope I am not disappointe with the rest of the series.
I am really enjoying this series. However, I am no critic. I am annoyed with the errors, only because it takes time to go back to read the sentence again to understand what is being said, and then sometimes I still do not get it. All that said, I enjoy the storyline and where it seams to be going. The author is talented, and imaginative, but so much is going on that I am left sometimes confused. As I said before, I am no critic, but I know I enjoy reading. I enjoyed this, and I am left with anticipating the next book. Keep up the good work.
