Since the age of five when she wrote, produced, directed and starred in her own musical, Judie has been professionally involved in the entertainment business.

In High School she was the teenage hostess of TIME FOR TEENS, a Saturday morning television show and appeared in educational television, summer stock theatre and as a piano soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra youth concert

While studying for her BFA in acting at Boston University, she appeared in many national television commercials as well as summer stock theatre with many notable stars.

When in New York she landed the lead role of Marion in Girl In My Soup and was consequently cast in a TV pilot spin off from The Partridge Family and moved to California.

Discovering she could have a horse where she lived plus work as an actress, she stayed in California and appeared in many TV shows. Writing her character’s biographies as she waited between scenes on film sets, she began to see the full possibility of using her creative talents through the written word and resurrected her desire as a five year old to write, produce and star in her own productions.

When her first film script was optioned for a feature film she went to the LOS ANGELES TIMES to research the story of a newspaperwoman and was offered a job as a feature writer.

Before going back to features and television as a development executive and writer, Judie freelanced as a contributing writer and editor for various national magazines then became VP of CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT for SOUTHBROOK ENTERTAINMENT, a publicly traded international film and television company and than VP of the MC DERMOTT ENTERTAINMENT GROUP.
