An information systems nerd for twenty plus years, I’m a survivor of Dilbert-like re-engineering projects and 3:00 a.m. computer program crashes. My novel of tech crimes and misdemeanors is The Shadow Warriors, is available as a trade paperback and on the Kindle, and Smashwords.
The anthology, Murder From Sea to Shining Sea (I contributed "The Rich are Different") is also available on Smashwords. It is the story of a rather bad trip aboard a classic yacht sailing through New England waters. Many other great stories by well-known authors.
When I’m not writing, in the kitchen or the garden, I’m researching more plots in the North Woods of Wisconsin, or the Burning Man Festival. Or road trips that will never be written up in a travel guide. I have memberships in Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America . My husband and I received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the mystery conference The New England Crimebake.
My short stories are in the anthologies, Fish or Cut Bait and Coast To Coast: Murder from Sea to Shining Sea, as well as Level Best's Quarry.

The Shadow Warriors incorporates international locales, software agents running amok and derring-do at a German university. An outbreak of information warfare frames the story. Emma, a web consultant, dredges up a painful summer in her past to discover a means to end the info-war disrupting civilization. Emma’s irreverent, insightful observations pepper the suspense with edgy humor.
