Karen Delchamps

Karen Delchamps was born in Mobile, Alabama to Paul and Joy Delchamps in 1967. She is divorced and works as a full time writer and public speaker. She has five children Katie,18, Kent,14, Kara,12, Julia, 8, and Noah,7. Karen currently resides just outside of St. Louis, Missouri.

Through a series of unforseen events, she found herself divorced, penniless, jobless, and without a home. These circumstances created a thirst within her for faith and understanding of scripture. As a lifelong Catholic and actively involved church member, her search for answers lead her where she thought she'd never go...away from denomination and all she'd ever learned. Years of searching catapulted her to a happiness and level of life never imagined. Realizing God never condemned divorce, homosexuality, unconventional sex, and many other misconceptions; she felt compelled to spread the true word of God across the globe. Her mission is to tear down the walls of judgment and hatred and bring prosperity, bliss, great health and happiness to everyone just as God intended!

Her message is compelling and hugely unconventional. She unequivacally prooves what The Bible says about every controversial topic. She teaches the fundamentals of how to begin anew; grasping the happiness deserving to all who live in faith. Disspelling the myth that we can't party like rock stars yet live pleasing to God. He wants nothing less!

Smashwords Interview

What are your five favorite books, and why?
Hmmm...Non-fictions would have to be The ten Commandments by Emmet Fox, Creative Mind by Ernest Holmes, and of course The King James Version of The Bible. Each one impacts my thoughts and behavioral processes daily. I've managed to highlight and write in them almost to the point of obsession for the knowledge and wisdom they exude.
My two favorite novels are Great Expectations by Dickens and The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. Great Expectations, from the time I was twelve, is like the comfort of an old friend. I relate to the uncertainty and mysteries of unveiling perceptions of personalities within the confines of a young mind. Plus, it's just one of those crazy-kooky types of reads. Not a fan of romance novels, Sparks just has a quintessential talent for expunging raw emotion from his audience. Albeit pregnant and hormonal, I cried relentlessly for two solid hours almost twenty years ago nearing the conclusion of The Notebook!
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I like my iPad because the PDF Notes app allows me to highlight with my fingers and input notes and underline; which is essential with inspirational books and non-fiction. For novels, the Nook and Kindle are gentle on the eyes and seem to have such a cozy feel.
