Karen Maeby Bates

Biography

Karen Maeby, the eccentric Pirate and Poet, lives in Gulfport FL with her crab Sir Eisenhower Crabapple. She's an employee in the marine industry where she pursues her brand Boat Show Girl and has just rejoined the creative theatre/film world after not having been involved for 12 years.

Her inspiration for writing comes from every day life; living and breathing the emotions that go with anything that happens, or the art that stems from things she has read or researched in the moment that it peaked her interest.
