When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like to paint, cook and spend time with my family: hubby, daughter and two furry babies (aka kitties)! I also love to spend an hour or two at sunset, have a glass of wine and enjoy the gorgeous colors of our desert sunsets. This is one of my favorite things to do (with a good cheese and my family).
What is your writing process?
My writing process is different for fiction and non-fiction. For fiction, I find I may end up "out in the wilderness with no way to return" if I don't outline the story first. I am free to veer from the outline, but when I get stuck I have something to refer to that keeps me on-track. For non-fiction, I usually research, compile notes and then jump right in. I find I can keep moving forward on non-fiction without an outline (why? who knows!).
