Biography

K. Carter has been writing since she was a wee one, constantly filling her journals with the stories and adventures that filled her head. Writing may not be her day job, but it is definitely her passion

K.Carter currently lives in Cincinnati with her fiance and monstrous puppy, Odin. They are her muses, editors, and biggest fans.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small suburban Northern Kentucky. It was tiny and bored me to tears, which pushed me to create worlds and adventures that expanded past the small township I lived in.

Also, living there made me realize that in my heart I loved the city.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing before I could write. When I was toddler, around three or four, I would tell my mom my stories and she would write them down for me into a journal. When I got older I started filling the journals myself. At the age eleven I had about a dozen journals and binders filled with my fictions and brainstorms.
