I've been writing on an off for 20 years, seriously for 10. Writing is always something I come back to, to escape into an alternate reality. After three long years, I finally published my first book electronically, and have just started work on the second one.
What do you read for pleasure?
I'm mostly stuck on fiction. I'll read anything by Stephen King, Chuck Palanhiuk, Anne Rice, Jeff Lindsey. Those are the heavy hitters for me. I've also taken an interest in non-fiction, specifically anything by Mary Roach.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I currently own a Nook. I haven't picked the thing up in at least two years however. I think e-readers are amazing. The technology! Having an entire book on a lightweight, thin little device is truly awesome. On the other hand, there's just something about holding an actual book in your hands, turning the pages, smelling it, feeling the ink. I just can't get over it.
