Smashwords Interview

How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Word of mouth is still the best way to discover new work - I get a lot of recommendations through other writers and readers on Twitter and Facebook.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, I was still at school when my first story was published - I wrote one draft on a manual typewriter and sent it off to a local newspaper's competition. It would be great to say that all publication was that easy.
