Biography
An east coast native, Kate has been intrigued by the coast of New England since childhood. Naturally, this proved the setting for THE EMPTINESS IS NORMAL. As Director of Academic Writing at a small independent school, Kate teaches writing across the curriculum and manages a writing center based on individualized instruction. When not teaching or taking long hikes with her energetic Jack Russell, she is working on her second novel.
