A new author for me to try. I liked the fact that the story went straight into the thick of things so to speak, yes it really got going from the first page, and my interest was held. Great story line, with little twists n turns, great potential to expand on this. Although short I didn't find it lacking and couldn't wait to continue onto the next book.

From the first page I fell right into this world of Historical Romance. How I loved Taffata with her quick wit and bubbly character. Under the charge of her young uncle and brother the three got up to some dangerous antics which added to the excitement of the story. Upon meeting Lord Tarrant (Hotspur) she was determined not to set her cap at him, although extrememly handsome he had a scanderlous reputation with the ladies. Lord Tarrant, he wasn't wanting to fall in love, but Taffata was such a breath of fresh air, an innocent but at the same time all knowing how could he resist her. Another lovely story from Claudy Conn, one you won't want to miss.

Another fabulous Historical Romance from Claudy Conn, had me hooked from the first page. Chelsea a young beauty, high spirited and outspoken most of the time, finds herself taken under the wing of her godmother for her launch into London Society. Lady Daisy enlists the help of her very charming nephew Lord Brett Wainwright asking him to squire Chelsea around on her first London season, much to his dismay. Lord Brett has no interest in young maidens and marriage, prefering to dally with the more mature ladies. We meet Chelsea's best friend Sam,their playfull teasing and banter made me laugh. This story has some unexpected events, as the path of true love rarely runs smooth, I'm sure you will enjoy a wonderfull romance.

AMAZING ! Highlanders Bride , this was my first book by Deborah Gafford and its one to stir your emotions, betrayal, kidnapping, passion, action and an evil character too. Alexander and Katherine both wanted to marry for love, but their parents arranged their marriage and they had not set eyes on each other. There was no getting out of this, both characters drove me mad and I could of knocked there heads together, many times, especially Alexander. After much misunderstanding they finally got their HEA(less)
