A murder…a missing boy…a secret society’s bold and deadly plot. It is 1898, and Professor Concordia Wells turns to old allies when her good friend, the eleven-year-old Eli, disappears after his mother’s murder. In a desperate search for answers, she discovers that not even her own school colleagues are above suspicion, and that there is far more at risk than the loved ones she seeks to protect.
It’s 1896. Prof. Concordia Wells has to stay ahead of her mischievous students and a Lady Principal bent on making her life miserable. Life gets complicated when a donated amulet disappears, the donor is killed, and Concordia’s best friend confesses to the murder. The lady professor’s inquiries uncover a 20-year-old secret closely guarded by fathers now dead, and dangerous for those left behind.
