Tangerine Blues on Feb. 07, 2014

I was excited to download Tangerine Blues and started reading it on my smart phone during my insomniac filled nights. After reading After Burn and Shark Bait, I was eager to read more. But I realized that I couldn’t continue reading something so real and filled with imagery and fly word play on my phone during the mid-morning hours. I wanted to print Tangerine Blues so I could continue reading it. As an avid reader I like the how an old-fashioned, traditional book feels in my hands. Nonetheless, I needed to print the e-book so I could touch it, bend the pages, and write notes in the margins when Tanefa’s words moved me. And, I did just that. I have many favorite poems in Tangerine Blues, many of which evoked sadness, memories, hope, pride, and curiosity. I’m so glad I bought it and you will be too!
