K. A. Duff lives in Portland, Oregon and teaches at Clark College. She was born in Scotland and holds an MA in Medieval Literature and a PhD in American Studies. Her research focused on the fascinating world of P. T. Barnum, freak shows, and other forms of amusement in the 19th century.
