Kaleeda Jenkins

I'm an attorney, blogger, entrepreneur, movie buff, video game geek, and athlete all wrapped in one. But more importantly, I'm a personal finance enthusiast who wants nothing more than to see people debt free and stress free.

For most of my adult life I struggled financially. Living check to check, spending more money than I made, and never knowing where my money went. Knowing this wasn’t how life was supposed to be, I looked everywhere for a solution to my problems. Everywhere but where my problems started. After barely surviving a layoff and earning a few gray hairs I attribute directly to financial stress, I finally realized that the solution to my problems lied with me.

In January 2012, I decided to aggressively pay down my debt. A battle I chronicled on my Facebook page. Every time a credit card was paid off, I’d post about it. Not to brag. But just because it was an accomplishment that I was proud of. Unbeknownst to me, my friends were paying attention to my journey. And when my journey had come to a close they began contacting me for advice on how they could eliminate debt in their own lives.

These friends are who inspired me to write an eBook and start a blog. Because of them I realized that I wasn’t alone in my struggles with money, and that many others could learn from what I’ve lived through.

My hope is that readers, by subscribing to my blog and reading my eBook, will learn how to eliminate debt quickly and aggressively, become wise stewards over their finances, and be chock full of passive income ideas that can help them escape the rat race.

Both my website and my eBook are meant to guide people through the unfamiliar waters of finances that were never taught in any classroom. Taking them through the process of overcoming financial struggle, moving into financial security, and setting their sights on financial freedom. My goal is to help whoever wants it to change their lives for the better. And if I can help even one person, every hour I spent developing my blog and writing my eBook will have been more than worth it.
