Summer Rising is the first installment of the Imperium Quell Series, a series 10 years in the making. It all began in 2007 and the first volume was completed in 2017. Summer Rising was kept secret, a project little to no one knew about in that time span. K. Romero started the book at thirteen years old while living in Hawaii. During the ten years, K.Romero moved across the country and finished it while living in on the mainland USA. The book is a representation of what if's, personal experiences, and imaginary daydreaming.
