Kristin Kitchen is a transplanted Bostonian who calls Southeastern North Carolina home. A single mother of two amazing kids and a couple of rotten dogs.
When she is not busy at work as a 911 dispatcher telling the cops and firefighters what to do, she can be found at the beach with her sassy toes in the sand.
She leads her life much like her characters. Living every day to the fullest with her incredibly dedicated crew of friends.
Kristin’s passion for writing began when she started blogging as the Diary of a Mad Dispatcher. After much encouragement from her fans and close friends she decided to combine her love of writing and entertaining others with her animated story telling into the Greyson-Slade Series.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I love series books. Kristen Ashley's Rock Chick series being my most favorite. I love all of them but my favorite of the series was Rock Chick Renegade. I love her alpha male characters, she makes them come alive on the pages. Not to mention the insane jealousy she causes me to experience! George RR Martin's A Game of Thrones. They are long intricate reads and draw you in with all of the exquisite details. Erin McFadden's Muse. It is a super fast read that grabs your attention and refuses to release it. Jamie McGuire's Beautiful Disaster. A troubled coming of age love story. Where can I find a middle aged Travis is my question. Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga. This is my guilty pleasure. I have read the whole series over numerous times. If I had to pick a favorite of the series I think It would be Eclipse.
What do you read for pleasure?
I love to read anything that catches my attention. Anything from fantasy to hot and steamy romances.
