Kevin W. Hoffman Sr. AKA
K.W. Hoffman has accomplished many things in life including father, marrying his Soulmate, former law enforcement officer, minister and had a semi-professional career as a Singer/songwriter, Entertainer/Impersonator, Actor and Author. He was born & raised in Monticello, AR & began performing classic country music locally in the 1990's while working full time. He performed as a Hank Williams Jr. impersonator from 2004-2007. In March 2007 he auditioned for ABC TV's "The Next Best Thing" in Orlando, FL and landed an appearance on National TV and he also appeared on Florida's WFTV 9 local news. His performances as Hank Jr. included shows in LA, MS, FL, IA and his home State of Arkansas. Friends and fans encouraged him to write and perform his own music. He submitted 3 original songs to Arkansas's most popular, Award Winning, Country Radio Station KSSN 95.7. He won their "Home Grown Artist" of the week (2-13-09) for his song"Out of my Mind" & it was played on the air. KSSN featured his songs "Your Everything In The World To Me", (that he wrote for his current wife), "Out of my Mind", and "Waiting Patiently" on their Home Grown Music section and played "Your Everything In The World to Me" on the air.
K.W. Hoffman's Independent Music career as a singer/songwriter most memorable performances include the Songwriter Festival in Nashville, TN in June 2008. Featured Artist @ "The Poets Loft" Hot Springs, AR, & Counterpoint at N. Little Rock, AR. He has performed with various bands & musicians as well as solo at various public & private venues & events. His CD of original music "Acoustic Crossroads" as well as other recordings were available in internet stores. K.W. Hoffman is also a member of BMI and his music was published by Record Union & He was recruited by Dharma Records, a UK based Independent Record Label in April 2011. In (Aug. 2010) he was Runner Up in "Turtle Wax Jingle Contest" with his Jingle "Shine On" & he did receive a monetary prize for his efforts. K.W. Hoffman was selected as Musician of the Month July 2012 @ ETalent.com
He wrote a screenplay "They Call Him Jesus" in 2012 and published a book L A Lower Arkansas in 2013. He now lives with his wife and children in the Ozark foothills.
He began writing and performing again in 2022 and was a finalist for ISSA's USA Male Video of the year for his song/video "Runaway"

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born and raised in Monticello, Arkansas. It was a small town and as teenagers we did some crazy things out of boredom. This is where I got the idea for my first book "L.A. Lower Arkansas"
When did you first start writing?
I started over a year ago but I started out as a songwriter and I had some success with my song writing.
