I am a person in recovery and yoga teacher. I teach people in recovery in various venues - from jails to studios. I present workshops on various subjects relating to yoga and recovery, lead S.O.A.R.™ teacher certification courses and work closely with Nikki Myers, 500 ERYT and the Yoga of 12 Step Recovery trainings and classes. I have a great family life and stay close to my recovery principles. I used to work in accounting, most recently in industry, and I was able to bring my yoga and recovery to my daily life there as well.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love yoga and I love recovery. I see different aspects of their mutual support over and over. Just when I think I have said all I need to say on the topic, something else comes up. I actually HAVE to write; I can't not express myself. I am grateful to Smashwords for offering me a platform to publish the shorter books and manuals that accompany my other work.
What do your fans mean to you?
It is so fulfilling to get a note from one of my readers. Sometimes I will meet a reader in person and their eyes will light up- a nod of recognition and it is like we have known each other for a while. Without readers I would be whistling in the wind.

As a lifelong sufferer of insomnia I have found a book of hope. "Eat, Drink and Be Rested" has not only added to the remedies I need to have on hand, but has organized them all in an easily searchable book. The author's humorous asides make for pleasant reading as well. I am glad to have this as a resource and I would proudly give it as a gift.
