Podium Journal 8: Visions of Modern Youth on Jan. 30, 2017

An incredible exhibition of young adult writing. The youth of the public schools in Richmond tend to be so underserved, but their brilliance in expressing themselves is so worthwhile. Podium extracts the talent and best observations out of the youth they work with, and this is a great reflection of that. My personal favorite was "I Wish I Were White" and "Not So" - it's truly inspiring how much these young people feel and how they express it in their work.
