A compelling read, written from the first person. I quite enjoy this genre, when not written from the Deux Ex Machina standpoint, where the reader knows more than the charater about what is happening. It really draws you into the character's plight, puts you into his shoes, and leaves you bewildered. Most books nowadays try to spoon-feed you many of the details, and this one gets you thinking.
