Larissa Wells


Larissa Wells is a New Orleans-based fiction writer , freelance copy writer and editor, and picture framer who occasionally tends bar at art gallery openings for the fun of it. She received her BA in philosophy and art history from the University of New Orleans in 2008, and her MFA in creative writing from UNO’s Creative Writing Workshop in 2015. She has worked as a barista, a server, a cook, a telecommunications specialist, and as the director’s assistant at a non-profit. Her favorite cooking job was at Waffle House. She lives with her partner of 18 years and three cats.
