Larry Hill is a writer and artist. He was the winner of New York University’s 2010 Goldenberg Award for Fiction (final judge, Gail Godwin), and his short story collection was shortlisted for the William Saroyan International Prize for Fiction. His stories, two of which have been nominated for Pushcart Prizes, have appeared in numerous literary journals. He is based in California’s Central Valley, and his work tends to focus on the hardscrabble characters of that neglected landscape.
