Laurie Shepherd Hornsby

Laurie Hornsby works as a Colon Hydrotherapist and knows the importance of having a clean bowel to avoid disease. She’s not afraid to talk about this embarrassing topic of the colon, which is responsible for 90% of all disease. She’s a big believer in good health, is an organic gardener, a seeker of natural healing methods, and gave birth to four of her five children at home. She is a health coach and endorses the teachings of Bernard Jensen, John Harvey Kellogg, Dr. John R. Christopher, Dr. Edward F. Group, and many other health pioneers. Laurie deeply believes in Dr. Edward F. Groups’ statement: “I want to help educate and heal the world, bring back good health, positive thinking, happiness, and love.” She believes that colon cleansing is the first step to good health. Laurie wrote this book to raise awareness of the bowel and to shout about the need for change. It’s time to come out of the closet and talk about constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, and how we’re making ourselves sick!

Smashwords Interview

What do you read for pleasure?
I love non-fiction because I'm always on a quest to learn more about everything! I'm very health-conscious. I want to live life to the fullest and enjoy every precious moment of it! But that can only happen if I'm totally conscious about everything I eat, drink, think, and breathe. Pardon my paranoia, but our health is so important! As a result, I love books about health and self improvement.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Ogden, Utah and my father worked at Hill Air force Base. I had a fascination with airplanes because we went to the Air show every year and watched the fantastic Thunderbirds maneuver through the sky. It was a breath-taking taking thrill to see, hear, and feel the majesty of their flight.
