Erin is a 15 year old girl, born with a birthmark covering the left side of her face.
She moves to her parent’s home town of Galladale, where all is not what it seems.

This book was set in the not to far off future where a young boy called Scotty goes in search for fairies, only to find Echo, who is the offspring of baby (from book one)
The world as we know it has started to change. Muslims run the majority of the world. There has been a polio epidemic and poor Scotty was left with impetigo scars and problems with his eyes. His sister Abby also has problems with her kidney and her family cannot afford to buy her a new kidney.
Times are tough. Families receive no benefits and you need an appointment to even go to the emergency room.
Then there is Jose. His family were killed when he was just a little boy and he was sent to live in America with his new adopted family. Life was tough when he did not understand english.
One day his adopted family moved in with Scotty's family as money was tight.
As time goes on and they grow up, nothing is really mentioned of Echo until Scotty's mother dies in a car accident. This is when their lives are turned upside down.
This is definitely a must read. I strongly recommend this book to everyone!
This book is fast paced.
You follow them on collecting all the animals and hurrying to get to the Hive before world destruction starts happening. You are willing them to hurry up and praying they save everyone (animal)
You get thrown with talks of The One and you are left thinking 'Hold on a minute' I so want to the author to hurry up and finish the fifth book.
Not only do I want to find out about the One, I want to know if Lorna made it. What happened to both of her grandchildren? Does Seth get what is coming to him (I hope you!) What is going to happen when they can all leave the Hive?
I could continue..... I have so many unanswered questions. It is as if the author has just decided to open a whole can of worms.
Hurry up and let me read the fifth book please :))))))
From the outside things seem to be perfect for Abby, Scotty and Jose. But underneath it all each have issues they need to contend with.
Jose is in desperate need to track down his adoptive mother and sisters and with his lawyer Peter he knows exactly where to find them.
Scotty is finding the changes to his body hard. He feels lonely and can not seem to connect with a boy called Kane who is Captain Cobby's son. Then he meets Chloe and her dog Teddy and they instantly his it off. Instantly he feel so much happier.
Abby is visited by Netty and baby and told the worlds destruction is coming soon and she must save as many animals as she can (kinda like Noah and his ark). It's not an easy job and she feels the stresses of handling the knowledge of this hard, especially with Jose searching for his family. She eventually is able to confide in Captain Cobby and his son, who she and Scotty reveal themselves too.
Then there is Peter, their lawyer, who lives next door. He feels lonely and one night decides to go find himself a woman. This is where he meets Ginger Mae, who is not completely being truthful with him.
There is also a story of Omar who is hoping to become the next president. Not a nice character indeed.
This is definitely a gripping a book.
Will Jose finally managed to reunite with his family? Can Abby rescue all of those animals? Will Scotty and Chloes relationship work?
Is Armageddon really coming?????
