Steven Ehrlick is an Assistant Professor in the RTA School of Media at Ryerson University in Toronto where he also serves as Director, Music Den, a music industry incubator. Steven has over 20 years experience practicing law within the music industry. He was the V.P. of Legal & Business Affairs at two major record companies in Canada, BMG and EMI as well as The Enclave, a US based label in New York. At Ryerson Steven teaches undergraduate and graduate business, law, writing, and media studies courses. He authored the Senate proposal for RTA’s new Sport Media program and is head of RTA’s business stream. Throughout his academic degree Steven has obtained an Honours equivalent B.A. in Psychology, a Juris Doctor degree from Windsor Law School, and a Master of Arts degree in Media Production from Ryerson University. Steven completed his PhD in curriculum studies in 2017 at OISE, University of Toronto. Steven's first novel,The Channel, was released in 2000.
