What is your writing process?
Typically I like to write an entire chapter at once. I feel the flow goes much better if I don't start and stop mid stream. I generally will have a specific topic in mind and will start to flesh that out. The story tends to organically emerge and there are typically not a ton of edits that I make after I'm done. Oh sure, there will be a few, but not wholesale changes, just typically some tweaks. On the occasions that I'm just not feeling it and struggling to write, I give up and tackle it another day. Sometimes i go back to the same idea, sometimes I scrap it and start with something different. This works for me because I do not write long stories. Short stories and/or distinct chapters tend to fit better into my model, so that's what i stick with.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I occupy myself by reading other authors, spending time with my dogs, and juggling my wife and two girlfriends (that's basically a full time job right there!). Everyone knows about everyone else, it is totally cool. I'm also a huge NFL junkie and spend a good amount of time reading about and watching pro football.
