Born within sight of the Mersey, the author began a life- long love affair with books from an early age, enamoured with the physicality as well as the contents she studied history alongside, inevitably librarianship at university graduating from the University College of Wales Aberystwyth in the early 1980s.She began writing seriously while working as publicity officer for a national museum and through jobs in the civil service (which she describes as cruel and unusual punishment) and as a lollipop lady, classroom assistant, community development worker, housewife, mum and adult education tutor and learning manager has continued to put pen to paper and fingers to keyboard to turn in her own words, her overactive imagination into words on pages. A Dangerous Affair is her first published novel (but hopefully not the last).
