Leanne Beattie was born and raised in Owen Sound, Ontario and grew up overlooking gorgeous Georgian Bay. Her writing career began as a freelance journalist for the Owen Sound Sun Times, before Leanne started her freelance marketing business She currently lives in a ten-minute walk away from Lake Erie in the village of Port Stanley.
