What is your inspiration?
Often times, it can come from established shows and movies with a sci-fi and or fantasy bent. But I truly can say that the main inspiration comes from listening to dramatic film music, whether it be from the original scores of films, TV series or video games. In addition, I also draw from an emerging branch of film music, which is trailer music. This is the music that you hear when viewing a preview for an upcoming movie. Ther'e so much dramatic tension and orchestra conveyed in just the space of a few minutes and I find that it really begins to fire my imagination and give me ideas for the next story.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Basically, its centering around an alleged event which was reported in the London Times. Now what took place was, a schooner called the Pearl was on her way from the island of Ceylon towards Rangoon. The crew of six, headed by skipper James Floyd had been at sea for three days, when they spotted something that was coming to the surface of the ocean. Now, I won't go any further for sake of spoilers, haha but you'll have to read the book to find out what happens next.
