Haunted Moon (A Moon Coven Series Novella) on May 12, 2014

I was given a copy for an honest review. It was alittle slow in the beginning but it picked up towards the end. I'm looking forward to how this series plays out and how Leeny reaches her full potential as a witch and what happens with the covens and the bad vampires. It all starts out with Leeny starting to be trained as a witch. Her mother is a powerful witch that can summon fire and see visions. Leeny is the next in line to be trained and initiated into the coven. She questions herself at first if she is really cut out for this because of a situation that she sees her mom deal with. But towards the end she realizes how important it is to her to protect the people she loves and the innocent. She then welcomes it with open arms. She has 2 younger sisters one which really wants to be the next one in line to join the coven. After her sister gets to see what Leeny really has to deal with she is happy to have to wait those extra yrs. It was a quick read and a nice start to this series.
