Linda Schlenker

Biography

Linda Schlenker is a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in senior home health care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in Psychology and her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University. In addition, she holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from Rivier College where she graduated With Distinction. Linda has spent the last decade teaching seniors ways to remain safe and independent in their own homes, whether that home is their house, an assisted living apartment, or an independent living apartment.

She produced her first video, Fall Prevention for Seniors: How To Stay Safe and Independent in Your Home, in response to the growing problem of falls among the senior population. Her first book, Aging in America: One Healthcare Workers Perspective, was written to assist seniors, their families, and the people who care for seniors

Mrs. Schlenker also spends part of her time educating caregivers, seniors, and family about this important topic and continues to make home visits.
