After seventeen years in Healthcare roles, including eleven years as an Emergency Ambulance Paramedic, Lisa has spent the last 5 years on a journey of self- discovery.
Precipitated by diagnoses of PTSD, Anxiety and Depression, Lisa entered the world of personal development as a means to recovery.
Her journey of Post Traumatic Growth has led to her current position of gratitude for all her experiences, good bad and some very ugly, as all have contributed to her being where she is now, in a state of compassion and curiosity.
She has spent the last four years as 'The PTSD Coach' focused on helping others from First Responders and Military backgrounds overcome their labels and symptoms. The most profound shifts in Lisa's mental wellbeing were as a result of studying, integrating and now training with the principles found in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Lisa lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband and three children including two adult stepchildren, the dog and four (yes four) cats. Lisa enjoys writing resources, content and books that she believes will help others. Stay tuned. More books to come.
