RC Monson

Biography

Over the years, my stories and poems have appeared on occasion in small press reviews and various local publications. I studied art and literature at the University of New Mexico and San Francisco State University and had plenty of jobs in my time, including work as a retail clerk, bike mechanic, teacher's aid, gallery clerk, rental agent, and garageman. Once I finally had a degree in hand, I found work as a writer, editor, graphic artist, pr specialist, customer service tech, and salesman. At the ripe old age of fifty, I went back to school at the College of Santa Fe to become a high school English teacher. Now in retirement, I finally have time to polish up and publish works that have been accumulating in the filing cabinet for decades. Cheers!
